Margaret Ann Oess, 62, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 7, 2014.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph, of 41 years; children, Katie Oess, Carrie Marques (Carlo), and Steve Oess (Meg); grandchildren, Belle, Matthew, Kellan, and Noelle; father, Richard Merk; sisters, Kathy Yoko (Gary), Barb Otto (Bob), Linda Speckert (Butch), and Julie Mavromatis; sisters-in-law Mary Schwartz and Margie Goebel (Rick); and brother-in-law Bob Oess (Colleen).
Oess was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Dental Hygiene, which she practiced for 35 years. She loved learning, was an avid reader and a talented help to her family and friends.
Family will be receiving friends at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach from 5 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 13.
A Catholic Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach at 10 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 14. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. Online condolences may be sent at www.coxgiffordseawinds.com.
