Andrew E. Kisinger, 87, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 4, 2014.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan Kinsinger; sons, Steve Edwards, and Eric Kinsinger; daughters, Jeanine Higgins, and Andrea Kennedy; seven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Kinsinger was predeceased by a son, Mark; grandson, Reid Villiere; three brothers and four sisters.
He was born Sept. 3, 1926, in Utica, N.Y., and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 13 years, coming from his birthplace. Kinsinger was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. He was a member of the American Legion of Utica. He was a retired engineer in the railroad industry and a member of the Utica NARVRE. Kinsinger was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
A memorial mass will be held in Utica, N.Y., at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory of Vero Beach. Condolences may be made at www.lowtherfuneralhome.com.
