Dorothy G. Parks, 92, of Vero Beach, passed away on Feb. 4, 2014.
Parks is survived by her daughter, Pennee Irwin; son, James (Rob) Parks; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one niece.
Parks was born in Milwaukee, Wis., in 1921. For the past nine years, she resided at The Isles of Vero. Parks retired after 25 years with Milwaukee Western Bank (now Securant Bank & Trust). She was an active member of The Order of The Eastern Star and Westminster Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach.
The family will receive friends on Sunday Feb. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 a.m., on Monday Feb. 10 at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., at Forest Homes Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wis.
