Car ends up in canal, no injuries reported

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A driver reportedly hit the gas instead of the brake Thursday night sending the vehicle into a canal, according to Indian River County Fire Rescue.

There were no injuries reported from the single car crash in the 9100 block of 44th Avenue, northwest of the Wabasso Causeway.

The car ended up nose down in the water.
