INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A freeze warning will be in effect for the Vero Beach and surrounding area Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The warning is in effect from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m. Thursday.
Temperatures should fall quickly after sunset reaching near freezing by the late overnight hours of Wednesday into Thursday.
It will affect areas mostly west of US 1. Up to around four hours of temperatures between 30 to 32 degrees will be possible West of Interstate 95.
Remember to bring pets and house plants indoors and protect outside tender vegetation.
