INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A flood advisory as been issued by the National Weather Service in Melbourne.
The advisory covers Southeastern Indian River County and stretches from Vero Beach to Eastern St. Lucie County. The advisory will be in affect until 4 p.m.
Be on the lookout for flooded roadways especially in flood prone areas as heavy rain is expected to persist.
The National Weather Service suggests deactivating cruise control, slowing down in heavy rainfall and leaving a safe distance between vehicles.
