SEBASTIAN — Anjani Cirillo, president of the Sebastian Clambake Foundation, presented over $30,000 in checks to two selected organizations at Wednesday’s Sebastian City Council meeting.
Cirillo first presented a $15,000 check to the City of Sebastian. Secondly, she presented a check in the amount of $17,445 to the Ecumenical Food Pantry for the purpose of building out its parking lot.
Sebastian is expected to use the funds to build a museum within Fisherman’s Landing on Indian River Drive as part of the Working Waterfront Project.
The 2013 Clambake event took place Nov. 8 – 10 and planning is already underway for the 2014 event.
