Rachel Wentz Book Signing Luncheon

VERO BEACH — Dr. Wentz graduated from FSU with a PhD in Anthropology and has extensively studied prehistoric remains from both the Windover, a 7,000 year old excavation site in Titusville, FL, as well as from Little Salt Spring and Calico Hill.

She has worked on sites in both St. Croix, England, and also Ukraine.

Dr. Wentz will be in Vero Beach to give a lecture at an afternoon luncheon on Jan. 11 at the River House. She will be signing her latest book “Life and Death at Windover” which will be available at the luncheon, and give a fascinating talk about the forensic research she covered in her long career.

The Indian River County Historical Society will host the luncheon and reception, which will raise funds for the many free programs put on for the public benefit by the organization. This event is sponsored by Wells Fargo, Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company, and Sexton Properties, Inc.
