IRSC Foundation receives $150,000 gift for undergrad endowments

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A check in the amount of $150,000 was recently presented to Ann Decker, Executive Director of IRSC Foundation, Inc. The amount was a combined total willed from the John and Helen Price Scholarship Fund ($100,000) and the Michael Chance Scholarship Fund ($50,000).

They are designated to be used by the college as endowment funds administered to needy undergraduate students who maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and are transferring from the two-year program into the upper division. The lesser of the two endowments meet the same criteria with its intent for students entering the health science program offered by the institution.
