VERO BEACH — For many of our homeless neighbors, Christmas day is just another day without food or shelter. The Source is their home and family: a friend to those in need.
Without the support of partners like you, the wonderful taste of a holiday dinner would not be possible for our homeless. We need your help to ensure the spirit and tradition of the holiday is shared with those less fortunate.
This year, The Source is planning a special Christmas Eve celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be a church service that will begin at 11:45 a.m.; lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.
On that day, the homeless will receive a Christmas shoe box from Lauren’s Way.
Grand Harbor Evening of Giving has also provided funds to purchase a special gift for those who signed up early.
