VERO BEACH — On Friday, Dec. 13, Indian River Charter High School’s (IRCHS) Dance Department will host its Inaugural Christmas Dance Concert in the new Charter Dome at 6055 College Ln. in Vero Beach on.
Under the direction and choreography of dance instructors Hedi Khursandi and Cherith Bounds, the students will showcase a selection of holiday pieces from the Nutcracker to classic holiday tunes in modern and ballet dance.
The IRCHS Dance Department offers courses throughout the year in Dance Kinesiology, Dance Technique, Ballet, Pas de deux, and modern genres. The program has guided many of its students into higher level dance organizations and programs including the American Ballet Theatre, Joffery Ballet School, Royal Swedish Ballet, Tallahassee Ballet, and many more.
The event will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by phone at (772) 567-6600 ext. 235 or in person in Room 120 in the VAPA building. Tickets will also be available at the door, but we recommend purchasing your tickets early because this is a highly anticipated event.
