Emilie V. Johnson, 93, died Dec. 3, 2013, at The Gardens of Port St. Lucie.
Johnson was born in Detroit, Mich.
She moved to the Treasure Coast in 1988 coming from Caldwell, N.J.
Johnson worked in the fashion industry as a model and later went into fashion design where she served for numerous design houses until her retirement.
Johnson was a member of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her nieces: Jean Rozek, of Bayside, N.Y., and Betsy Beuth, of Vero Beach; nephew: Paul Rozek, of Floral Park, N.Y.; great niece: Emma Rozek, of Bayside, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Monday Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach with a prayer service starting at 11 a.m.
Interment will take place at Crestlawn Cemetery following the service.
