Vero Beach Saxophone Ensemble at Holiday Rec Party

VERO BEACH — It’s time to get into the holiday spirit when the sounds of saxophones fill the night air at The Holiday Rec Party and Holiday Rec Run…3296-Go! at Royal Palm Pointe on Friday evening, Dec. 6.

The Vero Beach Saxophone Ensemble is comprised of 12 young men and women aged 14-18 with a mutual passion for music. All of them play saxophone in the Fighting Indians Marching Band and are a part of one of the three high school performance concert bands.

The ensemble, although being recently founded, has hopes to continue growing and succeeding. The ensemble has a range of saxophones from the small sopranos to the behemoth baritones.

Very few ensembles have the ability to play all types of music from a swinging jazz tune to a canonical classic to modern movie scores, but this ensemble can show off the versatility of the saxophone with ease to amaze and entertain all audiences.

That they will when they showcase a thirty minute set of holiday tunes presented from around the fountain area of the party.

A myriad of other entertainment that includes The Rip Tides, Old Barber Bridge, Guild on the Go, and the vocal ensemble Diversified will also be performing. In addition to entertainment, attendees will enjoy a plethora of children’s activities, the Holiday Boat Parade, food vendors, booths, beer gardens, Santa Claus, and so much more holiday fun.
