Dale E. Bassini, 84, died Nov. 3, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in Orange, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 1986, coming from Spring Lake Heights, N.J.
He was the founder and president of Metal Distributors and Supply Company.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Joan E. Bassini, of Vero Beach; sons Dale G. Bassini (Linda) of Brick, N.J., and Guy L. Bassini (Wendy), of Vero Beach; four grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Dawn G. Bassini.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
