Ouida Wiersma Hearn, 78, of Sebastian, formerly of Zeeland and Allegan, Mich., died Oct. 21, 2013, following a brief illness.
Hearn was born Feb. 21, 1935, in Woodbine, Ga., to James and Susie (Moody) Weaver.
She graduated from Jackson High School in Jacksonville.
She was a member of First Reformed Church in Zeeland Michigan and worked for many years at Zeeland Chemical.
She was preceded in death by Wayne Wiersma 2002, and her daughter Beth Chandler in 2011.
Survivors include her husband James Hearn, of Sebastian; her son Dale (Teresa) Wiersma; four grandsons Benjamin Wiersma, Ryan Weatherell, Zachary Weatherell, Chase Weatherell; siblings: Norma Boyer and Earl Weaver, of Jacksonville; brother-in-law Don (Marge) Wiersma, of Zeeland.
A family graveside service will be held in West Drenthe Cemetery in Michigan.
The Rev. Scott Van Oostendorp officiated.
