Indian River County victim assaulted with mailbox

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — An Indian River County woman has been arrested after assaulting someone in her neighborhood with a mailbox, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Tuesday, around 8:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of 5th Pl. Southwest for the second time, according to authorities.

According to another report this has been an ongoing feud, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Titeaunna Aletha Mariel Stewart, 19, was arrested during the deputy’s second visit for assaulting the victim with a mailbox she had pulled from the ground, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Stewart was one of three sustpects arrested for their involvement in this incident.

Stewart faces charges of aggravated battery and is still being held at the Indian River County Jail on $35,000 bond.

The other two involved in the assault were Byron Harvey Jr., 22, and faces a charge of battery, and Chaz Williams, 25, facing a charge of simple battery. Chaz has been released on $500 bond.

Gwendolyn Williams, 23, faces two counts of battery with a bond of $1,000 and was arrested earlier that day for spitting on the same victim that later was assaulted with the mailbox. Gwendolyn remains in the Indian River County Jail.
