Covenant Bible College and Seminary opens new satellite location

TREASURE COAST — Covenant Bible College and Seminary (CBCS) are making classes available now to the Treasure Coast area. Recently a need for a bible college in the Treasure Coast area was brought to their attention by Pastor Roger Ball of Immanuel Church in Vero Beach.

Since that time, CBCS has conducted numerous talks with Pastor Ball concluding that the use of Immanuel Church facilities would be appropriate for a Treasure Coast Satellite Campus.

Classes are being held once per week providing a flexible schedule for any person who desires to pursue a degree in Christian studies. Tuition is affordable, and registration is still open.

Each student is required to complete 72 hours of ministry practicum at their home church each semester. This ensures that although students will attend classes in the Immanuel Church building, they will provide committed assistance and attendance at their home church.

CBCS also provides Ministry Experience Credits for pastors, so that they can begin working on the advanced degree that they qualify for immediately.

CBCS was founded in Cleveland, OH in 1998. Its main campus has been located in Tallahassee, FL for the past several years. CBCS has eleven campuses in the U.S. and four others across the world.

They are an interdenominational, evangelical bible college and seminary. They do not discriminate against any student’s denominational background and choose to use an evangelical perspective in their class teachings.

CBCS is privately accredited by the Accrediting Commission International, the world’s largest private accrediting agency. They are also a member of the Apostolic Council for Educational Accountability (ACEA.)

ACEA was formed in 1998 at the N.A.R.E. Summit in Colorado Springs, CO. Peter Wagner, Chancellor of Wagner Leadership Institute, is the Director.

CBCS offers diplomas, associates, bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees. Students can major in Biblical Studies, Pastoral Theology, Basic Theology, Ministry, Pastoral Studies, Biblical Counseling, & Missions.

CBCS also offers an ordination process through Covenant Fellowship International, our nonprofit ordination service.
