Rental booths available for Holiday Rec Party

VERO BEACH — The City of Vero Beach’s Recreation Department, a government nonprofit 501(C)4 organization, is presenting two concurrent holiday events to be held on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5:30-9 p.m. at Royal Palm Pointe.

The event will include The Holiday Rec Run…3296-GO!, a 2 mile run at 6 p.m., and the Holiday Rec Party offering food, entertainment, children’s activities, Santa Claus, tree lighting, boat parade, and more.

A special aspect of the event will be the addition of a Holiday Craft Fair and booth space availability for community nonprofit and business booths.

Arts and crafts vendors, nonprofit organizations, or noncraft businesses who would like to participate in the Holiday Craft Fair are invited to submit an application form by visiting the website at www.COVB.org, calling Marty Paris at (772) 559-6440, or by emailing ParisML@bellsouth.net.

Vendors with arts, crafts, specialty items, and similar wares are welcome. No flea market items, food, or drinks are allowed. Food vendors are invited by invitation only.

Booth fees are $50.

Booth set-up for all participants will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be located at the far end of Royal Palm Pointe. All participants must be in place by 5:30 p.m. event start time.

Due to the evening hours, all vendors are asked to have booth lighting, lit by batteries or a quiet generator, as no electricity is available. Those interested in participating are urged to submit their forms as soon as possible, as space may be limited.

The event is a fundraiser for the City of Vero Beach Recreation Department. The City of Vero Beach’s Recreation Department will be the beneficiary of the proceeds which will go directly to keep the Royal Palm Pointe Fountain open year-round on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.(weather permitting.)

Donations and sponsorships are welcome to help underwrite the costs of implementing these events.
