Tropical Storm Karen has formed in the southeastern side of the Gulf of Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Hurricane and Tropical Storm Warnings have been issued for the Northern Gulf Coast.
The storm has maximum sustained winds of 60 mph and is forecasted to hit the United States early Saturday morning.
