Great Sebastian Treasure Hunt

SEBASTIAN — The Sebastian River Art Club (SRAC) is announcing the first annual Great Sebastian Treasure Hunt starting Oct. 1.

SRAC, in conjunction with the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce, will partner with Sebastian city merchants to put on the 6 month treasure hunt.

Each month, clues will be provided at the participating merchants to help solve the puzzle phrase which is on the back of the treasure map. Completed treasure hunt maps can be dropped off at any of the participating merchants or the Sebastian Chamber of Commerce.

Winners will be notified by phone or email when their names are drawn by the SRAC. Thousands of dollars worth of original fine art paintings, vacation packages, fine dining certificates, and gift certificates will be given away to the lucky winners.

There will be a new treasure hunt each month until the prizes are given away. Members of SRAC and employees of the participating merchants are not eligible to participate.

Participating merchants so far signed up are Mel Fisher’s Treasure Museum, Captain Hiram’s Resort, Capt’N Butcher’s Seafood Grill and Bar, Crab-E-Bill’s Seafood, Beyond Useless Boutique, and Design Transformations, with more to come.

Clues will also be available at the Sebastian Art Center, Sebastian City Hall, and The Chamber of Commerce.
