SEBASTIAN — By deadline Thursday, the first round of Campaign Treasurers’ Reports had come in for the Sebastian City Council race, showing Mayor Bob McPartlan has raised the most campaign funding so far, with a $700 loan he made to himself.
Former mayor and councilman Richard Gillmor has raised the second-most, with $550 in contributions. Candidates and incumbents Andrea Coy and Don Wright have raised $200 each, while businessman Damien Gilliams loaned himself $100.
Andrea Coy is serving as her own campaign treasurer and reported $200 in contributions, including $100 from ReMax Crown Realty and a personal loan to her own campaign of $100. Expenses during the same period amounted to $61 for the filing fee.
Gilliams, too, is serving as his own campaign treasurer and made a $100 loan to his campaign in January. He reported no further contributions during the current reporting period. The $61 filing fee is his only expense to date, according to the campaign finance report.
Gillmor is serving as his own treasurer and reported $550 in contributions, consisting of a $100 loan to his own campaign, $100 from Re/Max Crown Realty, $50 from Dan Dragonetti, and $300 from Todd Brognano.
His $231.79 in expenses to date include the filing fee, printing, planners, candidate forum, sign materials and gas, according to his campaign finance report.
McPartlan’s wife, Aimee, is serving as his campaign treasurer and reported campaign contributions totaling $700 in loans he made to his campaign. His $573.01 in expenses cover the filing fee, a campaign website, and postcards.
Wright, serving as his own treasurer, reported $200 in donations, including $100 to his own campaign and $100 from Re/Max Crown Realty. Expenses include $61 for the filing fee.
The Sebastian Citizens Speak Out Political Committee submitted a Notification of No Activity for the first reporting period.
