VERO BEACH — This will be a half day seminar for aspiring book authors which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Country Inn & Suites located at I-95 and SR 60 in Vero Beach.
The cost is $30 per person.
This three hour seminar and workshop will provide new authors with the basic details of how to get started on a book.
Topics to be covered, but not limited to, are as follows:
Rules for structuring and writing fiction and non-fiction
Plot, setting, and character development
Acquiring an agent
Getting published
Marketing your books
Instructor Marshall Frank is a retired homicide investigator and captain from the Miami-Dade Police Department, now an award-winning author of twelve books; six novels, one book of memoirs, one How-To and four books of non-fiction.
