Harry Howard Paugh (“Howard”), 91, died on Aug, 30, 2013, at home in Vero Beach.
He was born on May 24, 1922, in Cowen, W.V., and lived most of his live in Connecticut, moving back to West Virginia after his retirement.
He lived in Vero Beach for the last 9 months.
He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft Corp in Stratford, Conn., where he worked for 25 years as quality control foreman.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Polish National Catholic Congregation in Bridgeport, Conn.
Survivors include his granddaughter Sherrie L. Paugh McGary; grandson Robert H. Paugh II; and stepchildren Tom Romine, Dick Romine, Renee Edwards, Gary Romine; as well as many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, his first wife Francis Paugh, his second wife Irene Romine Paugh and his son Robert H. Paugh.
Howard will interned at the Polish National Catholic Cemetery in Stratford, Conn., next to his first wife Francis.
The family will hold a private memorial.
