Michael Wayne Regan, 68, Vero Beach

Michael Wayne Regan, 68, of Vero Beach, died Aug. 23, 2013, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce.

Regan was born on March 25, 1945, in San Francisco, Calif.

He moved to Miami at a young age and graduated from Pompano Beach High School.

Mike served in the U.S. Army 3rd Armored Division in Germany from 1965 to 1968.

He achieved the rank of E-5.

Following the service, he began to work with the Grumman Aerospace Corporation in Stuart in 1969 until retirement.

Mike was predeceased by his mother, Virginia E. Kelly, and his sister, Patricia Baylor.

Survivors include numerous close friends and fellow Grummanites.

A graveside service will be held at White City Cemetery on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m.

A celebration of Mike’s life is planned for Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at Riverside Park on Indian River Drive in Jensen Beach.

The gathering will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the celebration of life starting at 6 p.m.
