John T. Harvey, 58, of Vero Beach, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Harvey was born May 22, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minn.
He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Melbourne.
He started working at TruGreen in 1982, and retired as branch manager after 29 years.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Diana Harvey; his cats Barney, Charlee and Blackey; mother, Paula Harvey, of Melbourne; brother, Fred Harvey and his wife Sheryl, of Odessa; sister, Mary Daly and her partner, Randy Dobb, of Jasper, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Harvey and his in-laws, Earl & Charlotte Goodson.
A memorial will be planned at a future date.
