INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — According to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, an office/chapel was broken into at the Indian River County Teen Challenge, which is a ranch for troubled teen boys.
After a supervisor contacted authorities, three juveniles were arrested. When deputies arrived on the scene, they observed a window had been broken during the evening to gain access to Teen Challenge.
Three offices had been looked through where two iPods and an iPod cable where missing, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
One of the juveniles admitted that he and his friend pried open the window then crawled up into the drop ceiling to gain access to the adjoining office. The juvenile then downloaded music and pornography onto a counselor’s computer, according to authorities.
All three are Teen Challenge residents and face charges of burglary of a dwelling, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
