Robert Paasch, 92, of Sebastian, died after a short illness.
He retired from NBC in Miami where he was chief broadcast engineer.
Paasch served in Army Air force during World War II and worked on the Manhattan Project.
Survivors include grandchildren Christopher and Stefanie Paasch; nieces Renee (Harold) Worrell, Deborah Robinson, Charlotte Thorgerson, Charlene Poulson; grandnieces, Danielle and Melissa Worrell; nephew, Matthew Palma; and grandnephew, Nicholas Palma.
Paasch was preceded in death by wife, Ruth and son, Wayne.
A service will be held Sunday, August 11 at 11 a.m. at Strunk Funeral Home, 1623 N. Central Avenue, Sebastian, Florida.
