John Robert Underwood, 93, died July 31, 2013, at home.
He was born in Cleveland and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from North Canton, Ohio.
Before retirement, he worked for Firestone.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Merry R. Underwood, of Vero Beach; sons, James Underwood, of Canton, Ohio, John Underwood, of Akron, Ohio, and Warner Underwood, of Mogadore, Ohio; stepson, Roy Burnett, of Stow, Ohio; daughter, Janice Pinson, of Mogadore, Ohio; and stepdaughters, Cheryl Paul, of Medina, Ohio and Sandra Kundert, of Plain City, Ohio.
No services are planned at this time.
