VERO BEACH — The Indian River County Recreation Department registration for cheerleading and flag and tackle football have begun.
These programs are for children 4-14 years of age.
No child can turn 15 before Oct. 1, 2013.
The cost for tackle football and cheerleading is $45 per player; flag football cost is $35 per player.
There will be pay and weighs on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Each player involved with the Recreation Youth Tackle Football program must attend one of these pay and weighs in order to be placed on a team and fitted for shoulder pads.
Registration will be held at the Indian River County Administration Building before Aug. 10.
