James A. Brown Jr., 58, died July 23, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Paterson, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 41 years, coming from Totowa, N.J.
He worked as a landscaper in Vero Beach for many years.
Survivors include his sons, John Daniel Brown and Jack Russell Brown, both of Sebastian; sisters, Susan Griffiths and Kathleen Selph; brother, William Brown, all of Vero Beach; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Brown Sr.; and mother, Dorothy Haefner Brown.

Services will be at 3 p.m. July 28 at First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach.
