Operation Lemon-Aid to raise money for TC Food Bank

Treasure Coast — Who could resist a child’s lemonade stand? Furthermore, who could resist Panera lemonade?

Next Friday and Saturday, July 26 & 27, Panera Bread will be hosting lemonade stands to benefit Treasure Coast Food Bank Child Nutrition Programs at nine bakery/cafes throughout the Treasure and Space Coast area.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days, children and supporters of Treasure Coast Food Bank will be asking customers to donate $1 or more to receive a refreshing sample of homestyle lemonade. Guests will be served from decorated Operation Lemon-Aid for Kids stands made with love by Panera Bread associates.

“We are excited to be hosting Operation Lemon-Aid for Kids stands at all of our bakery/cafes,” said Dana Trabulsy, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Covelli Family Limited Partnership, a franchisee of Panera, LLC.

“We believe in the mission of Treasure Coast Food Bank and are looking forward to two exciting days when we can come together and make a difference in the lives of children battling hunger. Last year we were able to donate close to $10,000 on behalf of our generous Panera Bread customers,” Trabulsy added.

Additionally, all money collected in the month of July through the Operation Dough-Nation boxes at bakery/cafes owned and operated by Covelli Family Limited Partnership will be donated to Treasure Coast Food Bank.
