Bobby Brumley, 79, Vero Beach

Bobby Brumley, 79, died July 18, 2013, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

He was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.

He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War.

Survivors include his sons, Bobby Brumley Jr., of Vero Beach, and Dean Brumley, of Palm Bay; daughters, Shelby Dancy and Karen Beck, both of Vero Beach; brother, Frank Brumley, of Millageville, Ga.; sisters, Frances Griffin, of Palm Bay, and Lucille Glover, of Grant; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Kay Brumley, in 2005.

Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. July 26 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. July 27 at Strunk Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Winter Beach Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the Army Honor Guard.
