Charles H. Marvin, 84, Vero Beach

Charles H. Marvin, 84, died July 16, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

He was born in Ontario and lived in Vero Beach for 12 years, coming from Columbus, Ind.

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fort Pierce.

He volunteered for the Regional Building Committee building Kingdom Halls and providing disaster relief in Florida and Indiana.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Kathleen Marvin, of Vero Beach; son, Roger Marvin; daughter, Brenda McConnell, both of Columbus, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years, Mary Marvin; and son, Steven Marvin.

Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. July 20 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fort Pierce.
