Danforth Hallett Nettleton, 88, died July 14, 2013, at Grace Rehabilitation Center of Vero Beach.
He was born in Orange, N.J., and moved to Vero Beach in 1980, coming from Miami.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy V12 Program.
Before retirement, he was the manager of customer relations for National Airlines at Miami International Airport.
He was a graduate of Yale University, Class of 1946.
Survivors include his cousin, Susan McCue of Las Vegas; and life partner of 30 years, Lawrence M. Lieberman of Vero Beach.
Interment will be at a later date in Guilford, Conn.
