Kevin Christopher Koby, 60, died July 3, 2013, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, and lived in Vero Beach for three years, coming from his birthplace.
He obtained an associate degree in nursing.
He was an Army veteran.
He was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his daughter, Natalie Koby of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; son, Christopher Koby of Eustis; brother, Michael Koby of Concord, Calif.; sister, Wannalea Koby of Tempe, Ariz.; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Patricia Koby; and brother, Dennis Koby.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. July 8 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Military honors will follow.
