Thierry Michael Ross, 58, died June 28, 2013, at Madison, Ala.
He was born in France, and lived in Vero Beach since 1969.
He attended the University of Florida and received his degree in nuclear engineering in 1978, with honors.
He worked for the Nuclear Regulatory Board for more than 30 years and Florida Power & Light Co.’s St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant as the head inspector from 1998 to 2005 and later relocated to Huntsville, Ala., and retired in 2012.
Survivors include his wife, E. Esther Ross; sons, Sebastian Tyler Ross, of Melbourne and Spencer David Ross, of Gainesville; daughter, Sabrina Maryse Ross Carey, of Vero Beach; mother, Maryse Rolande Ross, of Vero Beach; sister, Carole-Lyne Ross Mize, of Vero Beach; and brother, Stephane L. Ross, of Mobile, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl R. Ross.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. July 6 at the Community Church in Vero Beach.
