Maureen Elizabeth Kirkendall, of Vero Beach and formerly Worcester, Mass and Harwichport, Mass, died June 28, 2013.
She was predeceased by her parents James J. and Mary Herlihy and brother James J. Herlihy, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Dr. Henry L. Kirkendall, Jr; daughters Elizabeth Kirkendall Hotz, Martha Kirkendall Murray; sons Henry L. Kirkendall, III; Col. David A. Kirkendall; grandchildren Cathleen and Emily; Madeline, Katherine, William and Anna; Laura, Henry IV, Caroline and Julia; D. Andrew, Jr. and Landon; sisters Dr. Catherine, Patricia Doyle, Jane Dee; sisters-in-law Mary Herlihy, Georgene Harrison and Margaret Kirkendall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 500 Iris Lane, Vero Beach, Fla. 32963.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the VNA of Vero Beach, 111 36th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 and The Wound Healing Center at Indian River Medical Center, 1000 36th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
