Francis C. Russell, 86, died June 28, 2013, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.
He was born in Plainfield, N.J., and moved to Sebastian 20 years ago from Cranford, N.J.
He served in the Navy He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge of Sebastian.
Before retiring, he was a plant manager and worked for PEM-ALL.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Alice Russell, of Sebastian; son, Bill Russell, of Cranford, N.J.; daughter, Cathy Dodd, of Edmond, Okla.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Russell.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. July 2 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian. Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian, is in charge of arrangements.
