Harold “Harry” Taylor Jr., 82, died June 27, 2013, at Willowbrooke Court in Indian River Estates, Vero Beach.
He was born in Nutley, N.J., and moved to Vero Beach in 1995.
After graduating from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in metallurgy, he lived in the Pittsburgh area for 30 years, where he was employed by the Jones and Laughlin Steel Co.
He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean conflict.
He was a life member of the American Institute of Iron and Steel Engineers.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach.
He was a member of the Vero Beach Exchange Club and the Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Martha Taylor; son, Jeffrey Taylor; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Harold, III.

Inurnment will be in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pa., at a later date.
