Fred R. McClure, 82, died June 28, 2013, at VNA Hospice House.
He was born in Decatur, Tenn., and lived in Vero Beach for 26 years, coming from Columbus, Ohio.
He was an Air Force veteran. He was owned and operated many service stations in Columbus, Ohio, and in Vero Beach.
He most recently owned the Mobile Station at State Road 60 and Interstate 95 in Vero Beach.
He was a member of Baptist Faith.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Patricia H. McClure; daughters, Patty Hegarty, of South Carolina, Susie Lang, of Vero Beach and Carolyn Hunter, of Vero Beach; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela McClure.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. July 6 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.
