Wanda I. Stedelin, 85, died June 21, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in Essex, Mo., and lived in Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from St. Louis, Mo.
Before retirement, she was a secretary for the Vero Beach Police Department’s Detective Division.
She was of Christian faith and crocheted preemie baby blankets for neonatal units across the country with the Needle Nippers of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Stedelin, of Crystal City, Mo.; daughters, Marla Brady, of Peoria, Ill., Karen L. Patrick, of Port St. Lucie and JoAnn Goehler, of Ballwin, Mo.; sister, Mary Ulen, of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
