Lina Masmontet, 65, died June 21, 2013, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Havana and lived in Vero Beach for 50 years, coming from Miami.
Before retirement, she worked for the Indian River County Schools for 8½ years.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
Survivors include her parents, Hubert and Carlina, both of Vero Beach; sons, Ty Barnes, of West Palm Beach and Drew Barnes and Matt Barnes, both of Vero Beach; and companion, Richard Gooding, of Vero Beach.

A gathering will be from 6 to 8 p.m. June 28 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
A funeral Mass will be at noon June 29 at St. Helen Catholic Church.
