Downtown Friday Red, White & Blues Blast

VERO BEACH — Main Street Vero Beach invites you to celebrate the 4th of July early in your patriotic stars and stripes at Downtown Friday Red, White & Blues Blast on June 28 from 6-9 p.m. along 14th Ave. The Jacks Band will be the featured guest performers.

Made possible with the help of Budweiser, The Breeze 93.7, and J & J Management, the event will feature an assortment of creative street merchants, food vendors, special entertainment during the band breaks, and more. Main Street Vero Beach’s special guest will be The Marine Corps League.

The Jacks are a Vero Beach based, four piece, classic rock band with a 10-piece band sound. With Sam Masiello playing bass and singing, Kevin Emerald pounding powerful drums and percussion as well as singing strong tenor harmonies, Ed Karwatske playing synthesized horns and strings and at the same time laying down B3 organ and piano tracks, and Craig Bower’s impressive vocal and singing guitar lines, their sound is explosive.

The Marine Corps League is a charter member of The Military Coalition, The National Marine Corps Council, AdHoc Committee, Navy and Marine Corps Council, the National Veterans Day Committee, and is represented on countless committees and programs serving the military and veteran community.

The League participates in patriotic functions in Washington as well as countless statewide and community parades around the country. They provide representation to the U.S. Congress in legislative matters affecting the United States Marine Corps, national security, and veteran’s benefits through our National Legislative Committee.

Most importantly, Marine Corps League Detachments are actively involved in community based programs throughout the country.

Main Street Vero Beach (MSVB) is a non-profit association and a member of the Florida Main Street program and The National Trust Main Street Center. The National Main Street’s 4-point approach is on downtown organization, promotion, design, and economic restructuring.

Main Street organizations have transformed the way communities think about the revitalization and management of their downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts. They are the places of shared memory where people still come together to live, work, and play.
