Betsy G. Braun, 74, died June 18, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian.
She was born in Union, W.Va., and lived in Vero Beach for 14 years, coming from Maryland.
She was a homemaker. She attended 20th Avenue Church of God in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Donald Braun, of Vero Beach; sons, Donald Braun Jr., and John Braun, both of Vero Beach; daughters, Wanda Anderson, of Vero Beach, Sherry Gilson, of Bel Air, Md., and Debbie McFadden, of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; brother, Barry Dowdy, of Middle River, Md.; sisters, Lorraine Polk, of Plano, Texas, Mildred Tyndall, of Conowingo, Md., and Joan Strandquist, of New Freedom, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Sharpeta; sister, Jean Bennett; and brother, Billy Dowdy.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. June 20 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
