Children’s Art Contest to benefit The Source

VERO BEACH — The Source is hosting a Children’s Art Contest in an effort to reintroduce their Heaven Sent Thrift Shoppe to the community.

Thrift shoppe proceeds go directly towards providing furniture, household goods, baby items, and much more to needy families in our community as a ministry of The Source. Please help support their efforts in bringing new patronage to their shoppe.

The contest is for sixth through twelfth graders who would like an opportunity to see their artwork displayed as a mural on the Heaven Sent Thrift Shoppe store front.

“I want to give the children of our community an opportunity to be a part of what we do here at The Source,” said fellow artist and Executive Director Dennis Bartholomew.

Please visit the website www. IAmTheSource.org for contest details, requirements, and all finalist prizes.

Here’s a sneak peak at what’s in store:

Winner’s masterpiece brought to life as a mural on the store front by local and national artist Patrick Berklew, professional mount and frame by Lighthouse Art and Framing, display at Vero Beach Art Museum, cash, and much more.

The Source is a Christian Homeless Outreach Ministry serving those less fortunate in Indian River County. They provide hot meals, clothing, basic hygiene items, showers, laundering services, pastoral counseling, and cooperative community agency referrals.
