Vern L. Heinze, 83, died June 8, 2013, at his home in Vero Beach.
He was born in Holt, Minn., and lived in Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Wisconsin.
He and his wife owned and operated a family supermarket as well as a publishing company.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathryn Marks, of Palm Beach Gardens; sons, Mark and Mike Heinze, both of Vero Beach; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be private.
