Barbara Jane Stumberg, 74, died June 8, 2013, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
She was born in Groveland, and moved to Vero Beach 50 years ago from Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Before retiring, she had worked as a librarian and teachers aid for the Indian River County School District, at the Wabasso School and Rosewood and Osceola elementary schools.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert D. Stumberg, of Vero Beach; son, Steven R. Stumberg, of Orlando; and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Stumberg; and brother, Gilbert Woods.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. June 12 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. June 13 at the funeral home, with a reception at The Plaza.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
