Dorothy Elaine Nuss, 98, died May 30, 2013, at Grace Rehabilitation Center of Vero Beach.
She was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from her birthplace.
She worked as an accountant for Nassau Community College in New York.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and the Notables, both of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Nuss, of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel S. Nuss; son, Robert Nuss; and daughter, Dorothy Meilnik.
There will be no local services.
Her ashes will be interred in St. Charles Cemetery, New York.
