VERO BEACH — The Academy for the Performing Arts is offering summer camp, group lessons, or private lessons this summer.
In summer camp, students will learn about music from around the world, read music, learn theory, and participate in crafts and games. Grades K-2 will be scheduled in the morning, while grades 3-5 will be held in the afternoon. The cost of this program is $100 per week.
Group lessons will involve voice, band, percussion, and guitar and run $130 for the summer. Lessons are weekly lasting 45 minutes each for 8 weeks.
The Academy is now accepting new students of all ages for private lessons which include piano, voice, brass, woodwinds, percussion, and guitar. Students learn at their own pace with a professional instructor.
Learning to play music includes music theory and reading music.
The summer semester begins June 3 and ends July 26.
Registration is now open for all programs.
