George E. DeBow, 94, died May 12, 2013, at Chatuge Regional Hospital in Hiawassee, Ga.
He was born in Bethesda, Md., and lived in Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Rockville, Md.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his son, George F. DeBow, of Young Harris, Ga.; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. May 23 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
